Here’s What’s Trending in 2020 for Holiday Decor

It may not be cold outside yet but with a wave of increased Covid cases, remaining at home in small groups is the best way to safely celebrate the season.  So, why not make your digs extra beautiful this year?  Here’s what’s trending to create a home that’s merry and bright this season:

Less is More:  According to Interiorzine, the name of the game is Less is More.  Using natural, sustainable textures heightens the coziness factor, something we are all craving these days. Go simple with greens and whites but throw in a bold burgundy for that punch of rich color to remain interesting but easy on the eyes.

Pair Natural Elements with Sparkle:  Pinterest is showing lots of fresh greens and white lights with warm textures of wood and leather.  A hint of metallic creates that festive flare.  Think pairing vintage, glass ornaments with a wood crate or leather tray.  The nod to the classic Christmas ornament never gets old!

Front Door Decorations are on the Rise:  People staying in means they are using their front entrance as a fun way to express the season.  Gorgeous garlands and wreaths will be donning doors and banisters alike.

So get your holiday music playing and create some beauty that you will enjoy all season long!

Join me on Saturday, December 5 for a Wreath-Making Workshop.  Sign up here and walk away with a stunning fresh wreath to grace your front entrance!
