Good to the last drop

I stumble down the stairs in the darkness. The world is just beginning to wake in my corner. I hear faint echoes of birds and a cat meows beneath my feet. I make my way to the coffee pot, feet shuffling across the kitchen floor.
There’s something about the silence of the house, the darkness of the morning and the anticipation of the day rising like the sun that wakes my soul. It beckons me to pry my sleepy eyes open and begin again. Recently there's another voice that's been summoning me to the kitchen as day breaks. It's the call of this Simple Homemade Chocolate Sauce that sits in my refrigerator and eventually joins the half and half and coffee in a marriage of my very own divine cafe mocha treat! It's getting me through the early mornings these days so I wanted to share it with you! Enjoy!
